Cheesy Meatball Sliders

Breadcrumbs | 1/2 cup |
Parmesan cheese, grated | 1/4 cup |
Fresh parsley, chopped | 1/4 cup |
Garlic powder | 1 teaspoon |

Black pepper | 1/4 teaspoon |
Egg, beaten | 1 |
Marinara sauce | 1 cup |
Slider buns | 12 |
Mozzarella cheese, sliced | 12 slices |
Butter, melted | 2 tablespoons |
Garlic powder | 1 teaspoon |
Parmesan cheese, grated | 1 tablespoon |
Fresh parsley, chopped | 1 tablespoon |
1. Preheat oven to 350°. Mix in the ground beef, breadcrumbs, pesto and eggs; Mix gently but thoroughly.Shape into 12 meatballs; Place on a greased rack in a 15x10x1-in baking pan. Bake until browned and a thermometer reads 160°, about 35 minutes. Toss the meatballs with the sauce. Sit on one side.
2. Meanwhile, without separating the rolls, cutting them in half horizontally, arrange the bottoms in a greased 13×9-in. Baking dish. Place half of the cheese slices on the roll bottoms. To sprinkle origaino add some meatballs and add sauce. Top with remaining cheese slices and bun tops.
3. Add butter, olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes, brush on the buns. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan and shredded mozzarella.
4. Bake, uncovered, until cheese melts, 10-15 minutes more. Sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
