Manhattan drink
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces rye whiskey
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Maraschino cherry, for garnish
- Orange twist, for garnish (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Fill a mixing glass or cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Pour in the rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters.
- Stir the mixture well until it’s chilled, about 30 seconds.
- Strain the drink into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry, dropping it into the glass.
- Optionally, twist a piece of orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it into the glass for extra flavor.
- Enjoy your classic Manhattan cocktail!
