Bourbon-Glazed Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs

Ingredients
  

Meat Mixture

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Wrapping & Glaze

  • 12 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup bourbon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a wire rack.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, shredded cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Mix gently.
  • Form mixture into 12 golf ball-sized meatballs.
  • Wrap each meatball with one slice of bacon, securing ends underneath or with toothpicks.
  • Place bacon-wrapped bombs on the prepared sheet and bake for 25 minutes until bacon is crisp and meat is cooked through.
  • While baking, simmer BBQ sauce and bourbon together in a small saucepan for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Brush bourbon glaze over baked cheeseburger bombs before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the bombs for 2-3 minutes at the end. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen before baking for up to 2 months.
